The FIFA Quality Concept is a guarantee of the highest synthetic grass quality. At the beginning every product must pass laboratory tests, licensed by FIFA, to confirm for example its durability, joint strength, climatic resistance, player-to-surface and ball-to-surface interaction. In the next step, every installed pitch must be tested on site. If the football turf pitch passes all the laboratory and field tests, it will qualify for FIFA 1 STAR or FIFA 2 STAR RECOMMENDATION. Certification is valid for four years, while the FIFA 2 STAR certificate is valid for 12 months, after this time re-certification must be carry out. Otherwise it automatically receives the FIFA 1 STAR (valid for another 36 months).
